Nice
its cool you give us a nice quick solo jam before your lessons.. good job.
wtb tabs for the intro tbh, that was badass
i have watched every single one of your videos and i am just now realizing that you have hitchhikers thumb and you’re the only other bass player I know, other then myself, that has it and i also wanted to say that the intro to this is just lovely sounding
So basically, he just stays in the same key throughout his intro right? I know that sounds like a rhetorical question, but I am having trouble with this. I hear him playing the same notes but in different positions and pitches. I just want someone with more knowledge to clarify it for me that modes and scales are used in a certain key and you could play those exact same notes in the key in any order and in any pitch, so long as they are the exact notes.
INSANE!
you can play them note by note or exact or inversions which is mixing the notes up as long as u remain in that mode cheers!
bad ass intro dude love your lessons .
i need 2 know if modes have 2 be played in the exact note by note order or can u sometimes skip notes????
Stu’s got mad skillz!!!
very helpul sir thanx
nice intro!
Intro is mad slick,,, Hope to play like that one day
STU I WOULD LOVE TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE WAY U DID IN THE INTRO…..PLEASE!!!!!! WHAT IS THAT TAPPING?
Stu Hamm is very naturally funny. All of the interludes and intros and banter cracks me up or makes me smile. Well done!
AH! i did not know that Stu is a nerd!!!
this is from a song called “Remember” on his Outbound album
more videos please.
i like the intro can you have a tutorial in it?
The riff at 0:30 is so sick! I wish I could play like that.
The intro was so bad-ass, thanks for the courses.
