THis one video taught me so much about how to play the blues, your an awesome teacher man
WHAT??
0:10 omg
2:12 face is like upps my cell again
lol, now ive answerd ur previous question, but the chord progression of an E minor blues is often played in major. So the 1 chord is major. Often within the improvisition over a minor blues you can resolve your minor 3th (g) with an major 3th (gsharp)
Awesome. Again. I see a trend.
Really would love to know that little lick @ 3:57 – 4:00!
move up a fret on the fifth string;
the e7 chord is third string first fret (G#) and fifth string second fret(B), no c’s involved. hope that helps.
–edit– you’re switching to an a harmonic minor scale for the e7 chord. it’s not part of the e minor blues scale, it actually happens all of the time. i found a short site with a paragraph that explains it a bit better if you’re still kind of confused -

that was not funny dude…could you please at least answer my question? I would appreciate it.
relax dude…. it will be ok
no no…wait…I didn´t mean “c” on the second, I ment “g sharp” on the third my bad, sorry. But still isn´t the part of the scale, or is it?
HI Marty! I have a question. Could you please explain me, how can be an E7 chord in harmony with blues e-minor scale, when in E7 you hold a “c” note on the second string with your index finger and “c” note is not a part of blues e-minor scale? hope you understand the queastion thanks for reply! keep up the great work
