www.soundpure.com This gorgeous traditional Brazilian Rosewood Goodall OM is simply a guitar that is as fine as they come. The incredible tonal balance, ease of playing, and harmonic interest and capability make this guitar one that dreams are made of! It was recorded with a pair of Earthworks SR40 Cardioid Microphones into a Sebatron VMP 4000e Tube Mic Preamp. According to Goodall, When we string up an OM it’s hard to distinguish from the Traditional Dreadnought” despite its body shape which is a bit smaller and easier to hold, still has that classic sound. This truly breathtaking instrument is available for purchase from the Sound Pure Guitar Boutique. We agree that Sebatron is impressive- we will probably put a little highlight reel together on that preamp (as we are especially impressed with it- and we didn’t even use any of its advanced features). For the money, it’s one of the best values on the market in the high end preamp world. It’s also proof that not all tube preamps have to sound overly saturated, muddy, and lacking in detail- great tube preamps can perform with accuracy, detail, and loads of transient responsiveness!
