bluesguitarunleashed.com for lots more blues guitar lessons. This lesson is a super common lick that I hear from Muddy Waters, Lenny Kravitz, Jimi Hendrix, SRV, Joe Bonamassa, and I’m sure just about every other blues player on the planet. I’ve shown a couple of examples in this video, but the possibilities with this lick and a good old E chord shape are staggering. It’s short but fun, so please enjoy. http

‘Tribute to Muddy’ from Johnny Winter’s ‘Progressive Blues Experiment’. It starts out as a heavy cover of Rollin Stone cover then he goes off in to Winter land. Cool song check it out if you haven’t before.
