Thank you very much Marty I think that was one of the most important lessons I have been given while learning guitar. Thank you so much. I intend to purchase one of your courses when I have completed my current course. Thanks from Ireland.
marty!!!where is your hat????
U ARE AWSAME
cool lesson
full step – 2 frets up
half step – 1 frets up
I need a different why to finger an a maj
A whole step up = move down two frets toward your picking hand, move down a whole step means toward the tuning pegs two frets, a half step is just one fret
Marty doesn’t look like Marty… but he’s STILL awesome
Didn’t recognise you!
what a hero!
Marty, do you include the use of simple loops in your DVD courses?
Caught Marty without hat!
Never saw him without hat before… :p
just shows that fame makes a transformation!
Dude, that’s him, i know that it’s a joke but that’s him, it’s just 4 yrs ago when he filmed it.

Thank you for stopping by to view my video, and for your wonderful comment. I’m glad to hear that these exercises are working for you. Keep up the good work and you will see results within a week. Thanks for making me laugh as well. Have a great day.
Wow lol this video made my day! Its one of the best n interesting videos I seen on here so far.
Anyways, today I was playing my guitar n my pinky gives out at a certain part of a song and wanted to find out a good method. I thought to myself, “if I push my fingers to the limit maybe they wont give out easily n probably last longer.” which kinda did. But what I wanted most was finger strength n muscle memory, but this helped out my problem. Thank u jeari! Total 4thumbs up. My toes count too haha
imma exercise that open thing with my gf

Ha, that’s funny. Thanks for making me smile. Eat the Broccoli! Have a great day.
Went upstairs to my fridge, and found my broccoli.
Pam, great to hear. In no time you will notice a huge difference. Keep up the good work.
I have been doing the tennis ball exercise – major difference – great exercise! thanks!

You’re welcome. Thank you for stopping by and watching. Please subscribe, and share the video. Have a great summer.
thank u dude
Its good to see a video that doesnt require a guitar, that can be performed anywhere. Out of personal preference i tend to use a stress ball instead of a tennis ball, but it is an excellent concept. Thanks
Rob, you make some excellent points, thank you for your comments. It’s good for other players to read your thoughts as you make good sense. Have a great day.
Good Video Jeari, In addition to what you stated here in your video, I find that many guitarists (and students) forget to do 3 things before playing their guitar :
1.) Finger Stretches
2.) Crab exercises
3.) Chromatic Exercises.
Most Guitarists will simply warm up playing either scales or their favorite guitar riffs (or whatever songs they may be working on) of course as you know long term neglect to proper finger exercises can lead to a guitarist developing tendonitis. Anyways, Good Video !
, your awesome, thank you for taking the time to view, See YA soon.
Excellent! Something to work on….
