    What is that guitar

  • pruppie03 11 years ago

Thank you! I’ve decided to try and learn it the ‘hard’ 4 fingered way, might take a little bit more work to master but I figured it couldn’t hurt me in the end. Your answer confirms to me I’ve made the right decision. And after a couple of days practising it’s really becoming so much easier on my fingers already.

  • kingdomheartsfreak79 11 years ago

Well its just encourages you to use all four fingers. The more you exercise your pinky, you’ll be able to maneuver it easier. But you could to it without it, but still continue to exercise all your fingers at other times.

Can anyone explain to me what the advantage is of a 4-fingered G chord? Nine out of the ten websites and videos I’ve come across while searching for beginners tutorials teach the 3-fingered G chord. Of course the 3-fingered G chord seems easier to master, but I don’t want it to come back to bite me in the ass at a later time. Can anyone give advice on which way is the ‘best’ to learn it?
