you helped me learn how to play “hit me baby one more time” on guitar AND impress ùy lil cousins! love you (:
let me just break my fingers so I can fit them all on one fret.
Really helpful. Thank you.
Awesome dude
thanks
excelente clase vary good
you put expert village to shame thank you
Tnx
You are the best Ever…Justin
thank you
sneak it up the back there with the first finger
you are the best teacher by far. a lot of teachers just say do this and that. you actually eplain how it should sound and what is wrong if it aint sounding good. fingers are killing but every chord you teach me is really getting my confidence up
index finger kills from the A chord! I need to press really hard in order to get it to sound clean . Thanks for the videos .
Thanks for the tip. I really appreciate it
Glad to help, keep lotion on them when the glue comes off. But this really helped me keep going.
ngomong aja u bau
Great idea dude! hahaha
I have hyperhidrosis, and it’s really hard for me to play guitar since my fingers keep slipping. At least this method somehow helps. You’re a lifesaver! XD
You are awesome! My fingers hurt so bad, I put a dot super glue on the ends of each one and that really helped me keep going. LOL
I. Am. Amazed!
I told myself for 30+ years that my fingers were too short n fat to play guitar. WRONG! I bought a guitar for Xmas and am following the BC course. At first: I thought I’d never be able to play a D chord. Got it down in 2 days. A chord? At first; nearly impossible. After 1 day practicing, I now have an A perfect 75% of the time. All thanks to Justin!
Aching fingers, aching face (from smiling), looking forward to the future.
THANKS Justin!! You really are an amazing teacher!
Thanks I did the second one because it was easier I’ve always wanted to learn how to play!
My A chord was KILLING ME until I discovered this video, thank you! This fingering makes much more sense, and is much easier on my fingers.
DO NOT PRESS DIRECTLY ON HTE FRET… go slightly behind. if your finger is over the actually strip of metal, its going to sound liek poop… slide your fingers twords hte middle…between the frets!
” no pain no gain ” gets a whole new meaning now XD
No matter what I do I can’t seem to make that 1 finger sound right – even if I focus on hitting just that cord as long as I’m in the first fret it sounds stiff. If I’m directly over the fret I can get a slight ‘ding’ but that’s all. Any suggestions?
nice video
Justin, Thank you for putting these videos on here, man I watched a ton but the way you explain it its so easy!! Thanks bud
HORSE WITH NO NAME!
I think this will work out for me (hopefully), only had a guitar in my hands for less than half an hour right now, it’s a black Ibanez, used, but very nice, looks new only $125.00.
Yes very sore finger tips at the moment, gonna play around for a couple of months see how it all works out, then I will buy your begginers CD, Thx Justin, hope I can find more lessons on your website, got the A-D-&- E down pretty good, all the best, cheers…….
amen to your comment! i second that! got my first guitar for christmas and these lessons are motivating me to carry on no matter how much pain and frustration
To: rollertider,
Come again… “Super Glue”?? I would not do that because it can be dangerous to you’r skin and body!! I’ll just keep playing the guitar the way many people have before me.
Hey, no pain no gain. Right? ;D
To: Bhawna03,
I started about two months ago its been challenging with finding the time to practice to keep up and not to mention my poor fingers but now its better. Have u been learning to play? and if so how long?
Cool. When did u start learning?
If anyone ask me, Justin’s videos/covers are easy and fun to learn with. ;D
I ‘m keeping up … so far I know (Major Cords) A, C, D, E & G. I am now working on the following (Minor Cords) a & e.

Justin, I just wanted to tell you I just started playing guitar. I bought a cheap stadium acoustic at work for 50 bucks, and I’ve been watching your videos and practicing in my spare time. You are so awesome man! and I’m learning very fast from your videos! I love what you do and the way you teach, please don’t ever stop. – Lucas
