    Diggin what you are throwing at me. Bro Sean, I have a old m.o.m thhat has came back and joined our church again. He said all gospel “penetcostal” is the 1-4-5 pattern, but the “TAB” that i seen on that pattern is totally different from what he is showing me. He is just straight down the neck. I know it is all for the glory but how do I get better if he is showing me the wrong thing?

    @henry142003, sorry I don’t know how this comment never got responded to, but yes… the numbers are the degrees of the major scale. There are 7 notes in the major scale, so after 7 the notes begin to repeat. So 9 would actually be the same note as the 2 just played in a higher octave.

    When you mention the numbers 1-9, is that the numbers of the notes in order of the major scale? and things like 345 the common progression?
